Long & Foster’s listings on Realtor.com will prominently display the company’s branding and a "virtual lawn sign" under a marketing alliance between the two companies.
With more than 13,000 sales associates, Long & Foster Real Estate Inc. claims to be the largest privately held residential real estate company in the United States. Realtor.com’s head of sales and marketing, Matthew Moore, said in a press release that the company worked closely with Long & Foster to develop the customized program.
Realtor.com has announced several marketing agreements in recent weeks, including a deal with The Realty Alliance allowing the network of North American real estate firms to promote home warranty and mortgage services alongside Realtor.com listings (see story).
Also this month, Century 21 Real Estate LLC announced it would subsidize the cost of Realtor.com listing enhancements for its franchise owners. The listing enhancements provide a photo gallery of up to 25 images; detailed neighborhood information; open-house alerts; the capability to feature full-motion videos and virtual tours; multiple lead forms; and reports on consumer traffic to each property (see story).
