California Regional MLS begins Point2 rollout

California's statewide multiple listing service has begun a rollout of Point2's real estate listing syndication and marketing program, Point2 announced today. Point2 and California Regional MLS signed a marketing agreement in December. This initial rollout includes 13 member associations. The companies plan to launch the program in all 23 member associations by the end of the first quarter to reach a total of 26,000 Realtors. As part of the agreement, the MLS will publish Realtors' listings to Point2's syndication network, which includes nearly 60 real estate consumer websites, search engines, classifieds and auction sites, Point2 said. The agreement also covers any future CRMLS member associations. "Today's market demands that brokers and agents maximize online visibility for their listings.
