Real estate technology provider Tribus has announced that it will acquire SquaredR Consulting Inc., establishing a presence in Chicago that will help the company further expand its national presence and launch integrated real estate marketing plans and real estate coaching packages.

Based in Orange County, Calif., Tribus provides custom and semi-custom website design and development and a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that includes workflow systems, Google Apps integration, email marketing campaigns, and on-page search engine optimization.

SquaredR provides content and search marketing solutions to real estate brokers and agents and mortgage industry professionals. Based in in Chicago, Ill., and Newport Beach, Calif., SquaredR’s team of creative, marketing and technology professionals provide custom content, on- and off-page search engine optimization strategies, email marketing, and public relations.

Eric Stegemann, Tribus’ director of business development, said acquiring SquaredR is  as “an opportunity to maximize the unique offerings of each company under one consolidated effort, which in turn will offer clients the opportunity of an all-in-one marketing plan that covers every base of their business needs. Essentially, we will provide a full-scale business and marketing ecosystem that will greatly minimize the amount of time that clients are putting into these efforts, while at the same time optimizing the value of their brand.”

Rachel Rusnak, founder and COO of SquaredR, will serve as director of marketing and coaching at Tribus. All of the SquaredR staff will continue at Tribus, she said.
