Market Leader adds lead-capture feature to CRM tools

Market Leader has announced additions to its Smart Lead Technology that make leads generated by major listing portals and franchises as well as agents’ branded websites automatically appear in its customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

“Market Leader is the operating system that is now used by more than 135,000 real estate professionals to grow their business,” Market Leader CEO Ian Morris said. “Smart Lead Technology enables our customers to fill their pipeline with leads, engage those consumers, and turn more of them into clients.”

The new feature has been integrated into all of Market Leader’s lead-to-close software-as-a-service (SaaS) system products, including Market Leader Professional, Business Suite, and the company’s franchise partner versions, the company said.

It is compatible with listing sites including Trulia, realtor.com, Zillow, HouseValues.com, RealEstate.com and JustListed.com.

Market Leader provides CRM tools to a number of franchising giants, including Keller Williams Realty, Century 21 Real Estate, and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.

Earlier this month, Market Leader debuted Market Leader Mobile. The service made some of the capabilities of the Market Leader Professional and Business Suite available to users of mobile devices, enabling agents to engage contacts from mobile devices with emails, calls, marketing campaigns and to-dos.

Last month, Trulia announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Market Leader for $355 million, a move that experts have said will arm it with an arsenal of software products to rival the portfolios of competitors Zillow and realtor.com.
