Redfin’s first-ever television ad will run on ESPN tonight in a couple of big markets — Seattle and Chicago — when the Seahawks take on the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football, tweets Jon Sneider, Redfin’s vice president of advertising and brand. The brokerage, which is said to be preparing for an initial public offering, touts its 1.5 percent listing fee, joining the likes of Zillow, Trulia, realtor.com and Century 21 in employing TV ads to raise brand awareness.
