The Perseus Division of Constellation Software Inc., a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. that entered into an agreement to buy Market Leader Thursday, has snapped up lead generation and management platform Zurple for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition adds to Constellation Software’s fast-growing portfolio of real estate agent software, which includes mobile and desktop websites, mapping solutions, lead management and voice-response tools.

Zurple

Confirmation of Constellation Software’s acquisition of Zurple, provided by Zurple Inbound Marketing Manager Irina Jorden, comes just days after Constellation Software gobbled up Market Leader for $23 million.

Market Leader provides a customer relationship management system and some online marketing products. Since Zurple basically does the same thing, the acquisition raises the possibility that Constellation might integrate or blend the two.

Zurple offers a website, a customer relationship management system and online advertising management. The advertising managed by Zurple drives prospective buyers and sellers to the Zurple-powered website where some register their contract information.

That information is then stored in Zurple’s customer relationship management system (CRM). Zurple’s CRM displays the search activity of buyers and sellers who register on the Zurple-powered website, highlights those deemed “hot,” and sends marketing emails to registered buyers and sellers based on how they interact with the Zurple-powered website.

Editor’s note: This story has been updated to clarify that the Perseus Division of Constellation Software Inc. purchased Zurple.
