When it comes to making money, would you rather sell 10 $200,000 homes or a single $2 million dollar home to make your commissions for the month? Most brokers will tell you that if you want more commissions, then you need to sell more units — but that’s only half the story! Your sales volume matters in a big way — but our industry has been far too focused on units alone as a measure of success, and hasn’t given enough attention to other factors — such as sales price — that ultimately determine your commission level.
