  • The survey was conducted by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and winners were awarded at a ceremony May 26

The largest Realtor organization in Illinois was recently named one of the best places in the state to work.

Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe) ranked No. 6 in the small employer category for its work enviornment, employee engagement and benefits at an awards ceremony at Oak Brook Hills Resort and Conference center. The 2016 Best Places to Work in Illinois ranking was a survey and study conduted by the Daily Herald Business Ledger.

Managed by an outside company called Best Companies Group, the 11th annual Best Places to Work in Illinois list is an initiative by the Daily Herlad Business Ledger, Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Advocacy Council and other local organizations.

MainStreet Organization of Realtors’ key to success is providing resources and educational opportunities for its staff and members. Supporting more than 16,000 members in the Chicago suburbs, MORe covers the south, west and northwest suburbs of the city.

“Mainstreet has grown over the years, but our emphasis on staff support has remained the same,” Lynn Madison, president of MORe and owner of Lynn Madison Seminars, said in a statement. “Our staff has access to many opportunities for employee development, such as classes and conventions, which help them shape MORe’s direction and which ensures employee longevity.”

The organization recently hosted Mexico’s national Realtor association to improve ties and help members build connections with a vauable source of investment. The event in Rosemont was the first of its kind.

MORe also recently partnered with RealSatisfied, a platform that helps agents collect and publish reviews. The partnership helped provide agents with valuable testimonials to share with the public and improve performances.
