The age of digital communication has given companies the opportunity to reach an audience in a completely new way, but it has also eliminated a personal touch for some. Chicago-based Leading Real Estate Companies of the World is aiming to connect digitally with a bit more human interaction.

LeadingRE announced June 23 that it added BombBomb to its preferred providers through its Solutions Group program, which is a selction of buisness tools available to its network of 550 real estate firms and brokerages. BombBomb is a video marketing platform that enables real estate agents to connect to their audience through video messaging that can be distributed via direct messaging, email newsletters and more.

“Traditional email can lack the human connection that is vital in the real estate business. By making it so easy for real estate professionals to communicate in a more personal way, BombBomb helps foster the connections that often make a difference, whether a sales associate is responding to a lead, following up on a listing appointment or promoting a new listing,” Robin LaSure, LeadingRE vice president of corporate marketing, said in a statement.

BombBomb was founded by Conor McCluskey and Darin Dawson after seeking a better way to communicate with clients face-to-face despite being across the country. In 2006, McCluskey experimented with sending a video email to his list of clients and launched BombBomb soon after.

The company is based in downtown Colorado Springs with 53 employees. Each year, the company sees 126 million minutes of video sent through its platform, and it has a reported 98 percent customer satisfaction rating. In a day, an average of 124 one-to-one videos are sent by a user on the platform. The company currently services clients in 42 countries worldwide.

BombBomb videos are designed specifically with a customized email header that is unique to a company’s brand and can include important details such as contact information, calls to action and social icons. The videos are also mobile friendly, with 53 percent of its emails viewed from mobile devices.

For LeadingRE, the hope is to cultivate more converted leads, replies and referrals through the systems. Aiming for an increase in engagement, LeadingRE believes the platform will assist the independent broker community in building a tight-knit circle of contacts.
