Through the partnership, Prosperity Home Mortgage will make Foyer’s homebuyer savings tools available as a resource for prospective first-time homebuyers.

Mortgage lender Prosperity Home Mortgage has enlisted first-time homebuyer savings platform Foyer in a partnership to help potential homeowners save for a down payment, the companies announced on Thursday.

Prosperity Home Mortgage is a subsidiary of HomeServices of America and operates in 49 jurisdictions.

Through the partnership, Prosperity Home Mortgage will make Foyer’s premium subscription available as a resource for prospective first-time homebuyers. Tools included in the subscription are guided savings plans, education about the homebuying process, credit-specific education and a matching 6 percent deposit on a down payment for qualified buyers.

Foyer is designed for consumers who are around six months or more away from buying a home and helps them prepare for the process through education, structured guides for achieving goals, access to live advisors and tools to match them with agents and lenders experienced with first-time homebuyers.

Landy Liu | Foyer

“The path to homeownership is no longer linear and it certainly doesn’t start at pre-approval,” Foyer founder Landy Liu said in a statement. “This partnership with Prosperity reflects a shared belief that the industry needs to support buyers earlier, with tools that build confidence, financial readiness and trust over time.”

The company’s basic subscription is free and offers a 3 percent deposit match and a 0.67 percent APY savings account for first-time buyers, plus $1,500 in savings on agent and lender fees.

Its premium “Foyer+” subscription costs $99 per year and offers a 6 percent deposit match, a 3.33 percent APY high-yield savings account for first-time buyers and over $2,350 in agent and lender savings.

In order for homebuyers to access the deposit match, they must be first-time buyers, have talked to a home advisor and have a verified purchase contract.

Prosperity Home Mortgage said the partnership reaffirms the lender’s commitment to expanding access to homeownership.

Justin Messer | Prosperity Mortgage

“At Prosperity, we believe responsible access to homeownership starts with preparation, especially when the down payment remains one of the biggest challenges for many first-time buyers,” Prosperity Home Mortgage President and CEO Justin Messer said in a statement.

“By partnering with Foyer, we’re expanding available resources that can help prospective homebuyers build consistent savings habits and strengthen readiness over time. Features such as a savings match can help accelerate progress toward a down payment goal, supporting more consumers in more communities as they work to enter the housing market with confidence and success.”

Foyer launched in the fall of 2023 and raised $6.2 million in a funding round in early 2025. Today, over 20,000 homebuyers use the platform.
