Inside Real Estate is giving AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT a direct line into BoldTrail BackOffice, while a new ComplianceAI tool moves compliance checks to the point of submission.

Agents may soon be able to ask an AI assistant to open a transaction, prep the paperwork and get it signed — without leaving the platform they already use.

Inside Real Estate, the technology company behind BoldTrail, confirmed early access to Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities for BoldTrail BackOffice this week, giving AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT a direct line into brokerage transaction and back-office data. The announcement came alongside the launch of ComplianceAI, an automated compliance-review tool built in partnership with SetWave.

MCP is an open standard that lets AI tools interact directly with a platform’s data rather than simply answering questions about it. Inside Real Estate said the capability has let brokers, staff and agents surface workflows, including generating, validating and presenting offers with embedded forms and e-signature, flagging issues before a deal is at risk, reducing double entry by enriching transaction data, and building out post-close follow-ups and pipeline reporting.

“Brokerages shouldn’t have to choose between a powerful platform and compliance they can trust,” Joe Skousen, CEO of Inside Real Estate, said in a statement. “ComplianceAI brings that compliance directly into the workflow our customers already use, catching issues before closing instead of after. And MCP is the next step: a brokerage where an agent can open a transaction, prep the paperwork, and get it signed just by asking, all inside the system they already run on.”

ComplianceAI, meanwhile, is designed to move compliance review to the point of file submission rather than after a transaction has closed. According to SetWave data, a significant share of transaction files are submitted with at least one error or omission, and reviews often are not completed until days or weeks after closing. The tool runs compliance checks throughout a transaction, validating required fields and signatures, flagging missing or inconsistent items, and cross-referencing the full packet, with results updating automatically inside BoldTrail BackOffice.

“As brokers, we lived this problem first hand,” Dalton Brewer, co-founder of SetWave, said in a statement. “Partnering with Inside Real Estate lets us put that solution directly in front of the brokerages who need it most, inside a platform they already rely on.”

The MCP rollout is part of a broader AI push at Inside Real Estate. The company’s Streams Studio, described as an open, MCP-native agentic AI platform, is built to connect a brokerage’s full tech stack rather than BoldTrail BackOffice alone, spanning compliance, transactions, lead generation and marketing.

Inside Real Estate said it serves nearly 400,000 brokerages, agents and teams, according to the company.
