The new team marks the close of a several-month hiatus for the Christie’s International Real Estate brand in New York and New Jersey.

The former Coldwell Banker Warburg team has made another move, with Compass International Holdings leaders now positioning the brand as Christie’s International Real Estate New York. Warburg veteran Kevelyn Guzman will continue to lead the 120-agent team as Christie’s International Real Estate New York regional vice president.

“This is an incredible opportunity to provide a boutique experience that also features the global reach and prestigious brand heritage of Christie’s International Real Estate,” she said in a written statement. “We’re fortunate to have a great culture and strong foundation on Day One. And we’re excited to highlight the assets of this brand and our talented real estate professionals in a new offering for clients.”

The new team marks the close of a several-month hiatus for the Christie’s International Real Estate brand in New York and New Jersey. The brand ended its contract with former affiliate Christie’s International Real Estate Group LLC in May 2026. Warburg moved to Compass in July and operated as Warburg at Compass — until leaders decided the brand would be a better fit for Christie’s.

“Executives from Warburg, Christie’s International Real Estate and Compass International Holdings recognized a unique opportunity to launch a flagship Christie’s International Real Estate brokerage that comes online with a substantial New York presence, strong team of luxury-focused agents and experienced management,” the firm explained.

Christie’s International Real Estate President Gavin Swartzman said the new affiliate represents the best in luxury, with New York City serving as the center of global real estate, culture and art.

“New York is a market built on relationships, expertise and trust, and those principles are at the heart of both Christie’s International Real Estate and Christie’s art and luxury business,” he said. “Our goal is to build a brokerage firm that brings those worlds closer together, while giving our advisors everything they need to provide exceptional service.”

The launch of Christie’s International Real Estate New York is the latest in a line of leadership appointments and brand alignments at Compass International Holdings, which acquired Anywhere Real Estate for $1.6 billion in January. In the months since, the holding company has steadily streamlined its organization, which includes Coldwell Banker, Corcoran, Sotheby’s International Realty, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, ERA Real Estate, Century 21, @properties and Compass.
