A National Association of Realtors affiliate has launched a program designed to help veterans build a career in the real estate land business.

The Realtors Land Institute’s Military Transition Program (MTP) is open to all members of the United States Armed Forces that have served on active duty since 2000.

Through the program, the institute will waive fees for one year of membership, a Land 101 course, and one elective LandU course, valued at more than $1,500, RLI said.

“The Institute is honored to give back to those who protect our land. Our military service members possess leadership qualities, dedication and a commitment to success that is valuable among land professionals,” said George Clift, the 2014 institute national president, in a statement.

“By joining the Military Transition Program, they will be connected to prestigious Accredited Land Consultants (ALCs) nationwide as they begin their education and business as a land expert.”
