Canadian watchdog loses case against Toronto Real Estate Board

Canada’s competition tribunal has dismissed allegations of anti-competitive practices by the Toronto Real Estate Board on a technicality: The Commissioner of Competition filed the case under the wrong section of the Competition Act. Interim Commissioner of Competition John Pecman said his office is “disappointed” and will be reviewing the decision. Source: The Toronto Star.
