ProVest, a provider of foreclosure-related services, has released a smartphone app that lets process servers — professionals who deliver foreclosure-related documents to defaulted borrowers — capture, store and share data while on the job, DSNews.com reports.

Some of ProVest’s clients have begun to require process servers to provide GPS coordinates as part of a photo time stamp that prove their attempts to serve, according to DSNews.com.

“Process Server Snapshot!”  is available for free to process servers operating in Lincoln, Neb., who are not doing work for ProVest, the publication said.
