Curt Fonger, who worked in TV news for more than two decades, is “looking for listings,” having joined Re/Max 1st Choice Palm Beach Gardens.

Fonger, whose last TV gig was as an anchorman for South Florida CBS affiliate WPEC-Channel 12, said he realized news stations were looking for younger talent. So are real estate brokers — the median age of Realtors has increased from 51 in 2006 to 57 in 2012.  But Fonger, 62, has instant name recognition that should help him transition.
