In the past few years, the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail has transformed into a 20-mile trail with various points of recreation and new transportation options, connecting Washington D.C. and Maryland. Now, the expanding waterfront trail will be home to a mixed-use development slated to feature 80,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space and more than 450 apartment units.
