CREG sought Baynet as a natural evolution in its effort to consolidate technology solutions for real estate professionals under a single brand.

  • This is Constellation Real Estate Groups third acquisition within 12 months, dating back to November 2017.
  • Baynet World will offer CREG customers website design, marketing and IDX solutions.

Constellation Real Estate Group (CREG) has purchased Baynet World, Inc., an IDX website solutions and marketing software company, according to a press release. The terms of the deal were not released.

“Baynet has a proven dedication to their products, while maintaining a strong focus on long-term customer relationships,” said Scott Smith, President of CREG. “We’re excited to welcome Baynet.”

CREG is a real estate technology company providing agents and brokerages a wide array of products to support sales, marketing, and back-office solutions. It owns just over a half-dozen brands, including Market Leader, Sharper Agent, Zurple, Z57, Diverse Solutions and Birdview.

San Jose-based Baynet makes E-Agents, an end-to-end business management platform for website creation and management, IDX-connectivity, customer relationship management tools, and a host of outreach tools common to the industry, such as blogging tools, drip marketing, and branded collateral. E-Agents also has mobile productivity tools with operating system-specific functionality.

Baynet also offers Listing Producer, a website builder that it says is the “nation’s leading single property website platform.”

CREG sought Baynet as a natural evolution in its effort to consolidate technology solutions for real estate professionals under a single brand.

This is CREG’s second acquisition of 2018, and its third in less than a year. In February, the company acquired Real Estate Digital and in November of 2017, bought Relocation Specialist (ReloSpec).

According to an Inman report, Real Estate Digital “…provided integrated services across technology, media and data to franchises, brokerages, agents and multiple listing services.”
