Luxury broker and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Tracy Tutor has launched a lawsuit against Oren Alexander, alleging sexual assault and trafficking, as the ex-broker awaits the jury’s verdict in his federal sex-trafficking case.
When allegations about the Alexander brothers began surfacing in 2024, Tutor had revealed to The New York Times that she believed she had been taken advantage of at a real estate cocktail reception for top producers.
In a lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York on Thursday, Tutor alleged that she was flown by Douglas Elliman from Los Angeles to New York for a top agents’ networking reception at The Skylark as a recruitment effort to join the firm. The reception was allegedly hosted by former firm leaders Howard Lorber and Dottie Herman. The NYT first reported on Tutor’s lawsuit.

After dinner, Tutor alleges that she accepted a drink she did not order from someone and blacked out shortly afterwards. The lawsuit complaint says that Tutor recently learned she walked away from the table at some point during the dinner, and Elliman agent Cory Weiss went to look for her.
According to the complaint, Weiss found Tutor in a men’s bathroom stall “with Oren kissing her, his shirt open and Ms. Tutor acting ‘out of her mind.'” The complaint later adds that, “on information and belief, [Oren] was touching her in intimate areas for his own sexual gratification.”
Tutor alleges that Weiss then confronted Oren, realizing that Tutor was acting out of character, brought her back to the dinner table and asked someone to ensure Tutor got back to her hotel room that night. Weiss himself left the dinner after being “shaken by the interaction,” the complaint says, and “concerned for his own job security,” without fully realizing that Tutor had been drugged.
However, Tutor alleges that she instead woke up the following morning in an unfamiliar hotel room after being sexually assaulted. She called Weiss, who advised her to call security, who came to the room to help her, as did Weiss.
“Later that day Mr. Weiss managed to get Ms. Tutor’s handbag back, somehow from Oren’s assistant who, on information and belief, was a woman named Sarah Williams,” the complaint adds.
Jason Goldman, an attorney for Oren, said Tutor and her lawyers had timed the “salacious” lawsuit for “maximum media impact, choosing the eve of the jury deliberations in the federal trial despite the fact that the allegations are more than a decade old and have already been aired publicly.”
“We are confident the jury will focus on the evidence presented in court, not on opportunistic litigation tactics,” Goldman added.
The lawsuit alleges that Tutor never fully pieced together what happened that night and repressed the memory of it. However, when allegations began surfacing in the press against Oren and his brothers, Tal and Alon, Tutor’s complaint says, “the painful memories came flooding back.” It was only by reviewing those memories with Weiss in 2024 that Tutor was able to recall more of what happened, according to the lawsuit.
The complaint further alleges that in 2024, after Tutor was named in a NYT article as a victim of Oren, a separate man, who is unnamed in the lawsuit, called Tutor while he was on a family vacation and left her a voicemail that said, “I’m sorry.”
Tutor is demanding a jury trial.
Closing arguments in Oren, Tal and Alon’s federal trial wrapped on Wednesday, during which prosecutors argued that the brothers employed a “playbook” for trafficking and assaulting dozens of women over the course of several years.
The defense team, meanwhile, argued that plaintiffs were attempting to equate “obnoxious” and inappropriate behavior on the brothers’ part with criminality. The brothers have continued to deny all accusations against them.
The jury began its deliberations on Thursday, and a verdict in the case could arrive as soon as Friday.
