Albert Stroble
A Pennsylvania real estate agent has been charged with 150 felony counts of possessing child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communications facility. Albert Stroble, 48, of Lower Providence Township, Pennsylvania, was identified after a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Aside from his work as a real estate agent, Stroble has also worked as a college tennis coach and a youth soccer coach.
According to a joint announcement from Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Lower Providence Township Police Chief Michael Jackson, NCMEC identified a Dropbox account containing uploaded videos depicting child sexual abuse. These showed “prepubescent and pubescent girls engaging in sex acts with adults,” including videos depicting children as young as approximately 8 years old being restrained and “forced to engage in sexual acts with an adult.”
After serving search warrants on Google, Verizon and Dropbox, Stroble’s home IP address was identified, and a search warrant was obtained. Law enforcement officers seized “multiple electronic devices, including a laptop computer that was found to be used by the defendant in the Dropbox upload.”
Stroble was released on April 15 on $300,000 bail, with the additional condition that he would have no unsupervised contact with children. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 28 in front of Magisterial District Judge Cathleen Rebar.
Members of the public with further information are asked to contact Detective Michael Nastasi at 610-539-5901.
According to Stroble’s LinkedIn profile, he has been affiliated with Keller Williams, Pacer Properties, Ignite, and most recently, Compass in Wayne, Pennsylvania. While his name still appears in the search bar on Compass’ website, his agent page is currently unavailable.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Stroble’s lawyer, Arthur Donato Jr., said in a statement: “We are looking at the matter and doing a parallel investigation and beyond that it would be inappropriate for me to comment further.”
