Rechat launched “Hey Lucy,” a voice-first ad campaign showing agents skipping the keyboard entirely as its AI assistant handles CRM updates, market reports and listing tasks by voice command.

Austin, Texas-based proptech firm Rechat is putting its artificial intelligence assistant front and center in a new ad campaign built entirely around a single idea: real estate agents talk, Lucy works.

The company launched “Hey Lucy” on Tuesday, a video-first campaign showing agents issuing voice commands from listings, cars and open houses while Rechat’s AI assistant handles the CRM updates, market reports, listing descriptions and comparable-sales pulls that would otherwise mean sitting down at a laptop.

The spots, filmed in South Florida in late June, run 15 to 60 seconds with handheld cameras and natural light, with no narration or on-screen feature lists, just a spoken command and a result.

The campaign’s framing traces back to a July 2025 post from Greg Robertson of Vendor Alley, “Hey Lucy, sell this house,” which argued voice would become the primary interface for real estate work rather than a novelty layered onto search or reminders. Rechat’s ads are built to make that literal.

“Agents were never going to type their way through their day and scale. They’re between showings, walking into a listing, sitting in a car between calls,” Shayan Hamidi, CEO of Rechat, said in a statement. “The interface that fits that life is voice. Lucy was built for this. She knows your contacts, your deals, your listings. She’s not a chatbot responding to a prompt. She’s a colleague who already knows the context.”

The tasks shown across the ad spots, such as building single-property websites, segmenting contact lists for market reports, drafting social posts, running buyer searches and sending testimonial requests, are largely the back-office work agents have long complained about doing manually.

Rechat’s pitch is that voice removes the keyboard from that equation entirely.

“Agents have never enjoyed typing notes into a CRM. We ask people who sell with their voice to sit down and type, then blame them for not doing it. Hey, Lucy does the data entry for you. An agent walks up to a listing, says a few words, and the work gets done instantly,” said Audie Chamberlain, Vice President of Strategic Growth and Communications at Rechat.

The campaign will run across Meta, Google and a network of national sites through the end of summer, with additional spots rolling out over the campaign’s run. Brokerage teams can request a demo through the campaign’s landing page.

Lucy is one piece of Rechat’s broader push to position itself as an all-in-one operating system for brokerages. The company markets itself as consolidating the fragmented brokerage tech stack into a single platform — what Chamberlain and others at the company call real estate’s “super app.”
