The new execs will focus on agent recruitment, retention and productivity, working with regional, divisional and market center leaders on growth strategies.

Texas-based franchisor Keller Williams has shored up its U.S. growth and attraction, digital and social media, commercial real estate and division leadership teams with five new appointments, effective immediately.

Chris Czarnecki

“Great leadership drives growth, and the fastest way to accelerate this is to put proven leaders closest to the opportunity,” KW President and CEO Chris Czarnecki said in a press release on Thursday. “John [Clidy], Sean [Hostert], Andy [Peters], Lesley [Peters], and Gabby [Maddox Davis] are builders and operators with a track record of turning opportunity into results.”

“Now, we’re putting that experience to work at greater scale to help KW-affiliated entrepreneurs and franchisees build bigger, more productive and more profitable businesses,” he added.

The new leaders include:

  • KW veteran John Clidy is the franchisor’s new head of divisions, which includes overseeing 30 divisional leaders across the U.S. and Canada. Clidy will focus on improving growth, productivity, profitability and several other key performance indicators, drawing on his experience as a top agent, market center operating principal, regional director, divisional leader and former vice president of growth.
  • Sean Hostert is stepping in as the head of commercial operations and strategy for KW Commercial. Hostert is a chartered financial analyst with more than 15 years of finance, investment, and commercial real estate experience at Trio Investment Group, Broadstone Net Lease, VEREIT/Realty Income Corporation and several other companies.
  • Coaching and team leadership duo Andy and Lesley Peters are co-heads of U.S. growth and attraction, where they will guide regions and market centers in agent recruitment, retention and growth. The Peters have 20 years of real estate sales, leadership, coaching and training experience, reaching more than 2,2000 agents across seven KW franchises in Georgia and the Carolinas.
  • Gabby Maddox Davis, the operating principal of Keller Williams Realty West ATL, is now also the head of digital and social for growth and attraction. Davis will craft digital and social strategies aimed at accelerating agent growth across KW regions and market centers.

“Our growth strategy starts with a simple question: How do we create more opportunity for entrepreneurs to thrive?” Czarnecki said of the newly-minted leaders. “We have tremendous opportunity, and delivering on it requires leaders who know how to turn vision into execution.”

“These appointments bring proven operators into critical areas of our business with clear accountability for growth to attract more great agents, strengthen KW-affiliated franchises, and to expand their commercial real estate opportunities,” he added.

This is the latest in a series of leadership shifts Keller Williams has made this year, including hiring its first-ever chief revenue officer and promoting veteran executive Jason Abrams to chief industry and strategy officer.

And on July 21, Keller Williams VP of Strategic Content Jay Papasan announced that he’s stepping away from day-to-day operations in August, giving him more time to support his wife’s KW team, the Papasan Properties Group, and continue work on other KW media projects.
