Zillow Preview listings are now live on Realtor.com, five months after the two companies announced a partnership to share pre-market homes across both platforms starting in the summer.
More than 400 brokerages have enrolled in Zillow Preview since the program launched in March, including Keller Williams, REMAX, HomeServices of America and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, according to the companies. Preview listings are labeled as such on both sites and require no login or brokerage relationship to view.
Buyers who find a Preview listing can save it, contact the listing agent, book a tour in advance or connect with a buyer’s agent to get pre-approved before the home officially lists.

“Today we set a new standard for pre-market transparency on Zillow and Realtor.com,” Zillow Chief Product Officer Christopher Roberts said in a statement. “While others in this industry are moving in the other direction and restricting early listings to private networks, we’re proving that broad, public visibility is better for sellers, better for buyers and better for agents.”
Anna Marie Castiglioni, head of Realtor.com Next, said in a statement that Zillow Preview listings on Realtor.com give every buyer access to the same homes at the same time, regardless of which site they use.

Eighty-eight percent of Americans said they would be at least somewhat interested in viewing pre-listed homes online, according to a Zillow-commissioned Harris Poll survey.
Agents participating through an enrolled brokerage receive the same benefits on both platforms at no cost to sellers or agents, according to the companies. Connections made when a buyer contacts the listing agent directly remain free. If a qualified Preview connection leads to a closed transaction through a qualified partner agent, the listing agent may receive a share of the revenue, settled through the brokerage, according to the companies.
Together, Zillow and Realtor.com reach three-quarters of major portal visitors, according to Comscore data cited by the companies.
