The Social Summit will have a new partner behind the scenes for 2027: Inman.
Inman announced a partnership with conference founder Andrew Jevin, bringing the agent-focused event into its national events lineup, from April 12–14, 2027, in New York City.
The partnership follows three consecutive sold-out Social Summit events and expands Inman’s offerings for real estate agents and team leaders, with a conference known for its focus on personal branding, social media and the everyday business of real estate.
Under the agreement, Inman will handle event production, sponsorships, ticketing and marketing, while Jevin remains responsible for the programming, creative and attendee experience.
“We’re thrilled to welcome The Social Summit to Inman,” CEO Tom Bohn said. “Andrew has built something remarkable. Putting on an event yourself for three years is tough. Selling it out three years in a row is even harder. Our events team is excited to take some of the logistics off Andrew’s plate so he can focus on what he does best: bringing agents together and creating an experience they want to come back to.”

Jevin’s own career helps explain the event’s nontraditional appeal.
He began working in real estate in 2015 while waiting tables in Los Angeles. During an early training course at Keller Williams, he was instructed to call everyone he knew and ask for business.
Jevin found the approach uncomfortable, so he stepped outside and opened Snapchat instead.
Before long, he was posting from broker opens across Los Angeles, including a recurring series featuring bathtubs in multimillion-dollar properties that he called “Tub Tuesday.”
Veteran agents in his office mocked the approach, calling him the “Snapping Realtor.”
He kept posting.
Eventually, friends he hadn’t spoken with in years began reaching out for real estate advice. Some became clients, while agents in other markets began sending referrals. By his third year in real estate, Jevin was earning enough to leave the restaurant business.
Now an agent with Compass, Jevin frequently speaks about the discomfort of putting yourself online when you’re worried about what other people think. He calls that experience “Cringe Mountain,” a concept that helped influence the culture of Social Summit.
The idea for the conference came after Jevin attended VidCon, the annual gathering for digital creators. He was struck by how freely attendees shared ideas, supported one another’s work and connected outside formal sessions.
“I wanted to bring that energy to my real estate agent community,” he said.
In 2024, Jevin hosted the first Social Summit in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, his hometown outside Philadelphia. Approximately 150 agents attended, some surprised to discover they were gathering in the suburbs rather than downtown Philadelphia.
The event sold out.

Its second edition, held in Los Angeles in 2025, also sold out despite complications from the area’s wildfires. Social Summit moved to Miami in 2026, drawing agents from across the country for its third consecutive sold-out event.

The conference developed a following among agents who valued its practical programming and opportunities to build relationships across brokerage lines.
“This is the best event in real estate. I will never miss a Social Summit,” Atlanta broker and social media personality Glennda Baker said after speaking at the event.
A mutually beneficial partnership
When Inman Chief Marketing Officer Holly Meyer Lucas joined Inman, she brought the idea to CEO Tom Bohn: What if Social Summit became part of Inman’s event lineup?
Bohn’s response: “Andrew Jevin’s event? Sold.”
Inman was in.
She then texted Jevin: “Would you consider partnering with Inman for the Social Summit?”
His response: “Inman? [explicit] yes.”
For Jevin, Inman’s authority and experience producing large industry events were appealing, but its reach across brokerage lines sold him.
“Inman has always been very inclusive of all agents, from all brokerages, which is very important to me,” Jevin said in an interview at Inman Connect San Diego.
That brokerage-neutral approach is central to Social Summit, which attracts agents from competing companies and markets across the country.
“Social Summit is my favorite real estate event of the year, and Andrew deserves so much credit for what he’s built,” Meyer Lucas said. “The sessions are great, and the dinners, the side chats, the breakouts — for real estate agents who need a spark for their business, it’s magical. Andrew understands what agents want from an event, and I’m thrilled that Inman gets to help him grow it.”

What the partnership means for Social Summit
The 2027 event will remain under Jevin’s creative leadership. He will continue to curate the speaker lineup and programming, working with Inman’s content team, while Inman assumes responsibility for the operational demands of producing and growing the conference.
The arrangement is designed to give Jevin greater support as the event expands, while preserving the format and community that have driven its success.
Social Summit’s programming centers on the business challenges agents encounter every day, including developing a personal brand, finding clients through social media and building referral relationships.
The event also creates opportunities for agents from different companies to get to know one another, whether during sessions, informal gatherings or dinners organized around the conference.
Past speakers have included Glennda Baker, Tracy Tutor, Brock Johnson, Case Kenny and James Harris.
For Inman, the partnership adds an established agent-focused event to its existing conference lineup. Social Summit brings a community that has already demonstrated its willingness to travel across the country to attend, along with an established format built around agent participation.
