How about an app that would let an agent see how their “social heat map” compares to other agents in their market, and recommend specific actions they can take to improve their social score? Those are the kinds of products that Software Incubator CEO Matt Kumar says his company is helping startups develop.

Kumar can envision a day when instead of going to a website like Zillow and spending hours surfing for homes, consumers will tell the site a little about themselves — their age, income, marital status and whether they have kids — and the search portal will tell them where and what kind of home they should be buying.
