'Leading RE' network gets tech suite

Market Leader, an online marketing company for real estate professionals, has entered into an agreement to offer its RealtyGenerator technology platform to the more than 600 real estate companies comprising the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.

RealtyGenerator gives brokers the ability to track individual agent performance, and includes a suite of tools to help brokers create a profitable online business within their existing brokerage while building market share, Market Leader said in a press release.

In the past 12 months, Market Leader claims a more than 50 percent increase in the number of companies using RealtyGenerator.

In April, the company announced a deal with brokerage company Realty Executives International, which has about 800 franchise offices and 15,000 sales associates in 14 countries (see story).

Market Leader, formerly HouseValues, purchased the RealtyGenerator technology in November 2007 for $10.2 million, and has since updated and retooled the system (see story).
