The South Florida real estate industry is grieving today after the loss of seven employees, including two principal owners, of Pebb Enterprises in Boca Raton.

Yesterday, the team was on a charter plane headed to Akron-Fulton, Ohio, when it crashed into an apartment building on Mogadore Road. The pilot and co-pilot of the plane also died in the crash.

The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration, Ohio State Highway Patrol, National Transportation Safety Board and Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office were on the scene again this morning in search of answers.

Pebb Enterprises released a statement, which reads, “Our hearts are broken this morning with the news of the tragic accident that took the lives of two principals and five employees of Pebb Enterprises. We are shocked and deeply saddened for the families, colleagues and friends of those who perished.”

The real estate company is accepting donations for the families of the crash victims on its homepage.
