Zumper report finds one-bedroom units in River North and West Loop to be least affordable

Zumper recently examined May’s median rent prices of one-bedroom homes in Chicago as the fall starts. Here are its findings:

  • Hitting the $2,100 per month threshold, River North and West Loop have been the most expensive neighborhoods to rent this fall.
  • More affordable rentals priced at less than $1,000 a month could be found in and around Dunning, Austin and Chicago Lawn.
