Content marketing on YouTube can be a great way to generate quality business leads, says Keller Williams agent Karin Carr, who uses it to build her business. One of the biggest bonuses of this practice is that it’s free.

“Content marketing is really amazing because you get really, really high quality leads,” said Karin Carr, a Keller Williams Coastal Area Partners real estate agent at Inman Connect Las Vegas this year.

Carr gets 70 percent of her clients (not leads) from YouTube, she told the audience during her on stage talk about marketing and lead generation from YouTube.

She runs the “Georgia Coast Homes” YouTube channel, which has more than 4,000 subscribers. Her videos are crisp, sometimes humorous, basic, and always succinct and to the point.

She recommends conducting keyword research before putting a video together so that people will be more likely to stumble upon your video when searching for something related to what you’re talking about. Her best posts have upward of 10,000 organic views, she said, and she’s closed six-figure commissions resulting from some of them.
