Comments are key when posting on social media. That was one of the main takeaways from “A Fresh Take on Organic Lead Gen and Content Strategy,” a panel discussion at Inman Connect Las Vegas.
Realtors Michele Bellisari and Sue “Pinky” Benson shared their video expertise with the ICLV crowd to help agents build their brand through intentional engagement. A crucial part of building your community is to respond to the comments.
“I want to make sure that my followers and the followers jumping on know that I’m actually there and responding to them and building a community,” said Bellisari, who runs two Instagram accounts.
You can’t “post and ghost,” as Benson said, adding that the comments are where you build the relationship with your audience. “It comes off as ‘I’m too good to come back and say something'” if you don’t.
