Leading luxury agent Kirsten Jordan has left her longtime firm, Douglas Elliman, and joined The Corcoran Group, the firm announced on Tuesday.
Jordan’s team, the Kirsten Jordan or “KJ” Team, will also be joining Jordan at Corcoran. The team will be affiliated with the brokerage’s East Side office, which is led by Senior Managing Directors Helen Monti and Tim Rettaliata.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Kirsten to Corcoran,” Corcoran Group President and CEO Pamela Liebman said in a statement. “She’s widely recognized as a standout in the industry, thanks to her deep market expertise and unwavering commitment to her clients. With the power of Corcoran behind her, I have no doubt she’ll elevate her business to even greater heights.”
Douglas Elliman wished Jordan well in her career move.
“We wish her the best of luck in her next endeavor,” a representative for the firm said in a statement emailed to Inman.
Jordan broke ground in real estate reality TV when she became the first female broker cast member of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York in 2021. But Jordan’s market expertise preceded her TV debut by a long shot.
She launched her real estate career with Douglas Elliman in 2008 and stayed with the firm for nearly nine years before signing on with Compass, where she remained for about four years. In early 2021, she rejoined Douglas Elliman.
Jordan’s team has achieved more than $1.5 billion in career sales volume and has frequently landed in the top 10 teams at Douglas Elliman. Jordan has also set multiple price records across New York City neighborhoods, including a $4.8 million penthouse at the Arris Lofts in Long Island City, Queens, and a $2.6 million penthouse at The Conover in Red Hook, Brooklyn, a press release from Corcoran said. One of Jordan’s most recent closed sales was a $10 million unit at One High Line.
Kirsten Jordan Team members Isabella Oledzka, Amy Solomon, Thomas Malloy and Lindsay Coleman will be joining Jordan at Corcoran. She has also already brought on two Corcoran agents to her team: Celine Mariton-Gamble and Noah Studenroth (who will also serve as Head of Operations).
“I am strategically evolving my team to continue thriving in today’s landscape,” Jordan said in a statement. “Partnering with Corcoran will take my business to the next level.”
Jordan’s approach to the business is personalized to each client, and she works to transform each property into its own lifestyle brand, a press release said. Her clients include Fortune 500 executives, Oscar-winning actors and other high-profile individuals.
