Over the past several months, we’ve been rethinking what a professional membership should deliver. Our vision is simple: help real estate professionals understand what’s happening, what it means, and what to do next.
That vision took center stage during the opening session of Inman Connect San Diego, where CEO Tom Bohn shared an early preview of the future of Inman Select and the broader transformation underway across the company.
Last week, subscribers were notified that Inman’s three current subscription products — Select, Access and Intel — will soon be consolidated into two simplified membership tiers: Select Plus and Select Advantage. The goal is straightforward: make it easier to understand exactly what’s included with every membership while creating a stronger foundation for what’s coming next.
But the new membership structure is only the beginning.
“I’ve never been this excited about something we’re building,” Bohn told attendees as he unveiled an early prototype of the next generation of Inman Select.
Rather than simply adding more content or features, the vision is to create a membership that helps real estate professionals cut through the noise, make smarter decisions, and stay ahead of an industry that’s changing faster than ever.
As Bohn put it: “Select 2.0 isn’t just an upgrade. It’s a complete reimagining of what Inman can be for you.”
That vision builds on a commitment Bohn shared earlier this year to deliver “a broader transformation taking shape at Inman. New products. New research capabilities. Deeper engagement with the leaders and companies shaping this industry and a recommitment to the editorial excellence that built this brand.”
While there’s still plenty of work ahead before the full experience launches, attendees in San Diego got the first public look at what’s coming.
