Rechat, the artificial intelligence-powered brokerage platform, launched an MCP Server on Monday that lets real estate agents manage contacts, marketing campaigns and deal status directly from Claude or ChatGPT with no need to open Rechat itself.
The launch puts Rechat among a small group of real estate platforms wiring themselves into the Model Context Protocol, the open standard Anthropic introduced that’s quickly becoming the default plumbing between AI assistants and business software.
TikTok, Meta, Google and Amazon have all shipped MCP servers this year, according to the company, but most AI integrations in real estate so far have targeted consumer home search rather than the back office.
Rechat’s server is aimed squarely at the agent’s day-to-day workflow, such as updating a contact’s tags, prioritizing follow-ups, checking where a transaction stands, or drafting and launching an email campaign, all from a chat prompt.
“Every major platform is opening up to AI. TikTok and Meta did it for advertisers; Rechat is doing it for real estate,” Shayan Hamidi, Rechat’s founder and CEO, said in a statement. “Our super app becomes the operating system AI runs on.”
Each connection runs through OAuth and is scoped to the individual agent’s own account, meaning the assistant can only touch what that agent is already permitted to see or edit inside Rechat, not a shared or generic dataset.
“For AI to do real work, it needs more than access. It needs structure and trust,” said Emil Sedgh, Chief Technology Officer of Rechat. “Every tool on the MCP Server is scoped to a real workflow and secured with OAuth. Instead of only bringing partners into Rechat, we’re bringing Rechat into every AI tool an agent already uses.”
Rechat demonstrated the integration live on stage at Inman Connect San Diego last week, with Claude executing tasks inside Rechat in real time.
Agents and brokerages can join a waitlist at rechat.com/mcp. The server itself is already live for developers at mcp.cluster.rechat.com/mcp and works with any MCP-compatible AI client, not just Claude and ChatGPT.
Rechat’s AI assistant, Lucy, already sits inside the platform helping agents draft marketing and manage leads. The MCP Server is Rechat’s bet that the more durable version of that assistant doesn’t live inside Rechat at all but wherever the agent already is.
