The Compass founding principal turned brand strategist will oversee the buildout of the Inman Media Network, creator strategy and the company’s expanding slate of niche events.

Inman has named Holly Meyer Lucas its chief marketing officer, adding a longtime agent, team leader and marketer to the executive ranks as the company expands its media channels and partnerships, Inman announced Wednesday.

Meyer Lucas will oversee brand and marketing, including development of the Inman Media Network, creator and influencer strategy, social media, community partnerships and a growing portfolio of niche events.

She will also lead Inman’s recently announced partnership with Andrew Jevin’s Social Summit and roll out the company’s 1,000 Storyteller campaign alongside Chief Operating Officer Constance “Connie” Sayers, who was appointed earlier this year.

The hire lands as Inman continues work on what the company calls Inman 2.0, an effort to diversify beyond its core news and events business.

“Holly is deeply respected across the industry, both as a leader and as a trusted advisor to some of the most influential brands and executives in real estate,” Inman CEO Tom Bohn said in a statement. “She has carried the bag as a real estate agent, built successful companies and created opportunities for people around her.”

Meyer Lucas founded the Meyer Lucas Real Estate Team in 2015 and served as founding principal for Compass in Palm Beach County, along with several years on the executive committee of the brokerage’s Sports and Entertainment Division.

The Jupiter, Florida-based team has closed more than $1 billion in sales across more than 2,000 transactions, with a client roster that includes professional athletes and other public figures.

In 2023, she founded Hype Boss, a brand strategy and PR agency whose client work has spanned creator campaigns, podcasts and live events. Clients have included SoFi, Breezy, Vesta, Social Summit and the National Auction Association.

“Inman has been an important part of my professional life for more than a decade,” Meyer Lucas said in a statement. “I’m excited to build new channels for revenue and growth for Inman and do what I do best through storytelling, creating buzz and excitement.”

Meyer Lucas’ other holdings — a podcast production studio, a co-working and event space and a real estate coaching community — will continue operating under their existing leadership teams, the company said.

She has previously been named an Inman Innovator and appeared on T3 Sixty’s Swanepoel Power 200 Rising Stars list.
