Mark Hawkins is a California-licensed real estate professional who works with clients in the greater Long Beach area. Before he became a Realtor in 2003 Mark was involved in several cutting-edge businesses. One of these was Internet Travel Network (ITN), the first major online travel booking service. Later, in collaboration with eBay founder Pierre Omidyar, Mark became Chief Executive Officer of ETA, the first major online travel auction site. After studying the systems and processes in the real estate industry, Mark became convinced that consumers could be much better served by a different compensation model. And he’s frustrated that even though the U.S. Department of Justice agrees, the status quo prevails.
