The Real Brokerage has added 57 more agents, this time by onboarding YEGPro Realty, a high-producing firm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Jessie McCracken
Inman learned of the latest addition in a Feb. 5 statement from the brokerage, which is led by Jessie McCracken and Will Hickey. Real now has more than 1,000 agents in Alberta.
McCracken and Hickey built YEGPro Realty from three agents, acquiring it in 2017. The company states it’s Edmonton’s top-producing outfit, based on sales, reporting $1.4 billion in sales since 2021.
The leadership team focuses heavily on training and mentorship for new agents, according to the statement, and McCracken said affiliating with Real “just made sense.”
“Joining Real provides the best opportunity for our agents to be one step ahead. Our culture of collaboration and training remains, along with the YEGPro brand, while our agents benefit from being part of something bigger,” McCracken said. “They will have more agents to collaborate with and all of the benefits of Real’s financial opportunities and technology platform.”
Will Hickey
Real brings on YEGPro after a massive recruiting year during which it brought on 1,000 agents per month on average, surpassing 25,000 agents. The company grew by 5,000 agents between July and December.
“Reaching this incredible milestone isn’t just about numbers — it’s about the community we’ve built together. Every agent, every story, every deal — it all adds up to something extraordinary,” Real President Sharran Srivatsaa said in January.
Real’s array of affiliation models and back-end technologies have proven to be powerful draws for the industry. It also offers benefits programs and a remote, office-less corporate structure. It created a luxury division in 2024, led by sports and entertainment-focused agent Kofi Nartey.
Real also was named No. 38 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list in November, Inman reported.
Regarding its latest pickup, Srivatsaa said, among other things, that he’s thrilled.
“Jessie and Will are forward-thinking leaders who share our vision for innovation and collaboration,” he said. “Reaching the 1,000-agent milestone in Alberta underscores the strength of our community and our relentless focus on building the future of real estate together.”
