Atlanta trailblazer and award-winning broker Gabby Maddox Davis is breaking barriers as the youngest and first Black Operating Principal in the Southeast Region for Keller Williams. Her approach blends social media, digital branding, event-based recruiting and agent education to create a model market center for growth, culture and performance.
Inspired by the example of her grandfather, prominent civil rights leader and former president of the Atlanta NAACP Dr. R. L. White, Davis operates with a vision of inclusive business ownership. “My goal has never been just to be the first, but to open the door wide enough for others to walk through it, too. Representation in leadership matters,” Davis said.
Here, leadership style has helped her scale to more than 300 net agents since launching in 2023. “For our rapid agent growth and profitability, Keller Williams ranked our brokerage the No.1 for Black Belt Net Agent Recruiting for 2024 and as the No.1 Home Run Launch for 2024,” she said.

My top prediction for next year
Brokerages that fail to implement a strong social media marketing strategy for growth will be left behind.
Agents and consumers alike are influenced by what they see online. If your brand isn’t visible, your value gets overlooked. Social media is no longer optional — it’s a leadership tool, a recruiting engine and a culture amplifier. The brokerages that master it will lead the market.
What makes a great leader?
They cast vision, create opportunity and protect culture. They lead by example, communicate with clarity and make tough decisions with grace.
Leadership is a stewardship, not a title — and the best leaders create a world big enough for others to rise and win.
What was a high point in your career?
A high point in my brokerage career was walking across the stage as the fastest net growth market center in the world for KWRI — with my leadership team (Ray Duvall and Taren Edwards) and business partners Kisha, Merrill and Ennis by my side, and our agents cheering us on.
It was more than recognition — it was a reflection of the culture, consistency and community we built together. We got there by staying focused, moving fast, and never losing sight of our mission to grow people and build wealth through real estate.
