It’s been an eventful year for ShowingTime. Last week, the Chicago-based showing management firm announced a new data element integrated into its market reports and 10 new MLS agreements, amassing North American reach to 900,000 agents.

In February, ShowingTime acquired RealEstate Business Intelligence (RBI), not long after buying both 10K Research and Marketing and BookingAShowing.com last fall. All three purchases allowed ShowingTime to offer sales, inventory and showing data. Brokers and agents can analyze trends externally, to assist clients, and internally, to boost efficiency.

What was once solely a showing management platform, ShowingTime has consistently proven itself to offer a dynamic product beyond ease of appointment making. The new proprietary data component provides MLS brokers and agents with local trends.

“Property showing data is among the most accurate leading indicators of pending sales activity and market demand in virtually every North American market,” ShowingTime President Michael Lane said.

Providing local market data for agents and brokers to better assist their buyers and sellers paves the way for more closings and higher commissions, says Lane. Plus, the integration with the MLS saves time and allows for applicable, on-property stats.

“Simultaneously, this new initiative reinforces the value and relevance of MLS-direct data,” he added.

Beyond the Market Stats addition, 50,000 new agents can now access ShowingTime’s tools and reports.

Five boards in the California Regional MLS signed agreements with ShowingTime in early May: The Orange County Association of Realtors in Laguna Beach, Pacific West Association of Realtors in Anaheim, Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors in Murrieta, Madera Association of Realtors and Downey Association of Realtors.

Peoria Area Association of Realtors in Illinois, MLS of Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, Kootenay Real Estate Board in British Columbia and the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors are also set up with ShowingTime’s online scheduling services and local market technology.

TRIAD MLS in North Carolina signed a supplementary contract, granting access to the ShowingTime Appointment Center with over 400 live specialists day and night.

“The Appointment Center’s 24/7 availability, branded calls and emails, and overall use of technology to automate the scheduling process is a significant upgrade for our members,” said Richard Renton, CEO of TRIAD MLS. “With the ability to schedule and confirm showings online plus market-wide reporting tools, our members will be better equipped to provide great service to buyers and sellers.”
