Inman has named veteran journalist Lucy Cohen Blatter as its new editor-in-chief. Cohen Blatter will bring her 15 years of experience covering residential real estate, business and luxury markets to the oversight of Inman’s newsroom, subscription editorial products and Inman Connect programming.
Cohen Blatter comes to Inman from Dow Jones, where she served as editorial director of custom content in charge of strategy for Mansion Global Custom Studios.
She previously served as Mansion Global’s managing editor with oversight of its global newsroom and daily editorial operations, and has worked with publications including Brick Underground, Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Crain’s New York Business and The Real Deal, among others.

Cohen Blatter outlined her early priorities, including strengthening the trade publication’s daily news reporting, adding value to its subscription coverage and “creating a closer connection between the newsroom and the conversations happening on Inman Connect stages.”
