Hear from Homeward’s Tim Heyl how he turned grit, industry knowledge and market disruption into a winning business model onstage at Inman Connect Las Vegas.

Tim Heyl, founder and CEO of Homeward got into real estate right after college. He read Gary Keller’s The Millionaire Real Estate Agent and went all in on building a business — and treating it like a business, he told the audience at Inman Connect Las Vegas.

He opted not to go the tap-into-your-sphere route and chose to cold call people he didn’t know because it was less awkward for him. He made 1,000 phone calls a day for three years and built a database of tens of thousands of consumers.

Then he turned his focus to making real estate better for the consumer. Find out more about how grit, absorbing industry knowledge and pure work ethic drove his expansion.
