Hudson County, New Jersey, top producer Patrick Southern has moved from Coldwell Banker Realty to SERHANT., the luxury focused firm informed Inman.
For the last five-and-a-half years, Southern was affiliated with Coldwell Banker. Prior to that, the 20-year real estate veteran was associated with Pure Properties for nearly a decade and had a long stint with the Mike Ferry Organization, according to his LinkedIn profile. Coldwell Banker did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Southern has closed nearly $200 million in sales volume in the last year, and has been one of the top producers in Hudson County, which encompasses Jersey City, for the last 10 years. Over time, Southern has come to dominate Jersey City’s brownstone transactions, SERHANT. said, as well as new construction projects that are six stories and lower.
“I have known Ryan [Serhant, the brokerage’s founder and CEO] for some time and am extremely excited to collaborate with SERHANT. in New Jersey and expand its new development offering,” Southern said in a statement. “There is a real synergy between how we work, and how I serve my clients at the highest level.”
Over the course of his career, Southern has become an expert in all things new development in Jersey City, from approvals to budgeting, interior and exterior planning, branding and more. He also holds records for the highest price per square foot on both new development condo and brownstone sales in Jersey City.
With the addition of Southern, SERHANT. gains a strong Jersey City market force, solidifying its commitment to growth in the New York City suburb.
