The real estate market of the past few years has been tough, to say the least. Commission lawsuits, industry consolidation and an ongoing sluggish market have created challenges and made real estate, well, a lot less fun.

Whenever I get the chance, I like to lighten up and focus on the good news indicators wherever I find them. This week, I was excited to see that Berkshire Hathaway’s new CEO, Greg Abel, the successor to longtime legendary chief Warren Buffett, appears to be bullish on the future of residential real estate, especially the new homes sector.
