Originally from London, England, David Parnes brings English charm to the City of Angels. Co-founder of a premium real estate service company, Bond Street Partners, Parnes and his partner, James Harris, have established themselves as two of the top agents serving the Los Angeles luxury market. After earning his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics and Politics from the University of Manchester, Parnes began working at a hedge fund before moving on to represent a private portfolio of real estate assets in Europe. While taking breaks from the London fog, Parnes spent his summers in Los Angeles and was drawn to the sunshine, warm and friendly people and vast potential of the city's real estate market. In 2009, he made the decision to permanently call L.A. home. Today, he specializes in high-end residential real estate and investment properties in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, the Hollywood Hills, Malibu, the Pacific Palisades and the greater Los Angeles region. The partners' "no-nonsense" approach to closing deals, coupled with their extensive network of high-net-worth international and domestic clients, have enabled them to sell over $165 million of real estate in 2014, over $250 million for 2015 and are on target to sell over $300 million in 2016. Their sales volume is growing at a formidable pace year on year with 49 sales in 2015 and 33 sales so far in 2016. Notable 2015 sales by the partners include the prized property on L.A.'s famous Melrose Place, home to the boutiques of renowned designers such as Oscar De La Renta and Chloé. Most recently the partners sold the famed Hustler store on Sunset Blvd. for $18.5 Million, as well as the $30 million sale of 438 N. Faring Road in Holmby Hills, a deal in which they represented both the buyer and the seller. Building on this incredible success, this year the partners have expanded their listing inventory to include a trophy $40 million dollar commercial building on Sunset Blvd., a $40 million dollar Holmby Hills estate, a Silicon Valley development opportunity for $30 million, an ocean-view Malibu compound for $25 million and a luxury estate in the Beverly Hills Flats $17.5 million. Their listing portfolio currently exceeds a staggering $325 million and includes some of the City’s most impressive properties with a wide range of listings in the $2-10 million range. Their exclusive clientele is comprised of countless celebrities, producers, business managers, agents, heads of Fortune 500 companies and numerous high-net worth individuals. David Parnes has earned many recent accolades including being named one of "Hollywood's Top 25 Real Estate Agents" by The Hollywood Reporter in 2014, 2015 and 2016. He was also named on the Wall St. Journal Real Trends list for 2015 and 2016. A recent personal project includes building a 4,200 square foot contemporary home in West Hollywood where he plans to live with his fiancé, Adrian, and their two rescue Basset Hounds, Maxi and Bella. David is an animal lover and donates regularly to animal charities.
