Top concerns

EMerge is much more than email marketing. Agents looking for merely another “email template machine” wouldn’t be the best fit.

What you should know

I’m glad I went into my demo of eMerge unaware of its feature set because I was able to see without bias how much power email holds when leveraged so strategically.

This is a tool for those brokers and agents wanting to create an email strategy, as opposed to a vehicle through which to simply send a market report every other month.

EMerge structures campaigns around specific goals, offering a large library of related, purposeful content, automated tasks and responders, and a clear path for campaign control and contact management.

What makes eMerge more formidable than other real estate-centric email solutions is its bevy of third-party integrations, which ensure it can fit into any number of common industry marketing software stacks.

However, beyond CRMs and calendars, eMerge works with names in business productivity software, too. Here’s a quick hit of eMerge connections:

  • Agile CRM
  • Contactually
  • Facebook
  • FreshBooks
  • GoToWebinar
  • Slack
  • Shopify
  • Zendesk
  • zipForm

Agents can use eMerge to execute “Consumer Touch” campaigns; and the Broker Bundle focuses on agent recruitment, regular agent outreach and consumer touch campaigns.

The back end is intuitive, using a three-column user interface (UI) that gives access to admin tools, current campaign data and your list of contacts.

Settings can control a series of marketing task notifications. For example, users can create a reminder to let them know a new lead has registered and needs a follow-up email.

Campaigns can run for up to 120 days, and be paused or turned off with a basic toggle switch. Templates are available in an array of looks and themes, and an in-house team at eMerge is consistently drumming up 40 original articles each week.

Content can be designed around user interests, such as green housing, pets, travel, food or technology, and suggestions are sent to users each week.

The email design experience uses a drag-and-drop editor — one I found to be more cut and dry than MailChimp’s.

Also, reporting tools allow users to see who is clicking on listings, links and other actionable content.

EMerge is willing to build custom solutions for those who feel that’s the best way to go.

I think eMerge is best described as an email-based marketing solution as opposed to an email marketing solution. There’s a difference.

And it can be found in eMerge.
