Adam Metz is the Principal at METZ, a San Francisco-based social web strategy firm that works exclusively with consumer brands in the lifestyle, travel, apparel and consumer-packaged goods (CPG) spaces.

METZ’s team of strategy associates completes social web strategies and the related business development component for consumer brands

These structural and tactical strategies enable brands to drive revenue, awareness and brand equity from the social internet. In addition to multi-year strategy engagements, the METZ team also teaches strategy workshops. The team also provides change management consulting for the introduction of social technologies.

Recent clients include Hershey’s Chocolate, The San Francisco Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Mighty Leaf Tea, an international shoe brand and a luxury hotel brand.

Metz is the first consultant in the space to devise a holistic social web analytics model for clients, and his first book, There Is No Secret Sauce, has sold or downloaded over 2000 copies. He is currently at work on a second book, Dance On A Volcano.
